Making Changes

I’ve been making a few behind the scenes changes to my website/blog lately. I have some hooks set up so that when I push changes to my main branch, it kicks off a build on the server hosting my site. This will hopefully streamline things enough that I want to start posting more. I’ve also started tagging posts so that I can make things a little more searchable and organized. Since this site is built with Jekyll, theres a number of really nice built-in features to help with that, so why not take advantage? 😉

Another change is just limiting the recent posts on the landing page to just three. The default setting in the template I use was to just list all of them, and that’s just a tad… excessive in my humble opinion. I’m also working with a snippets feature in VS Code (my editor of choice) to help with getting the front matter set up on posts… something I just get annoyed with doing every time. So, making things easier should ultmately encourage me to stop making excuses and start writing more. This executive dysfunction shit with AuDHD is such a bear to get past, but I’m trying to do it one small step at a time.

Until next time, critters! ❤️
